About The Position

Lifespace is seeking a dedicated Move-In Coordinator to join our Sales team at Abbey Delray South. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and positive transition for new residents. The Move-In Coordinator will manage the entire occupancy process from deposit receipt to move-in, acting as a key point of contact and promoter of the community. Responsibilities include coordinating move-in schedules, preparing closing packets, facilitating resident selections, communicating projected move-in dates, and collaborating with various departments to ensure apartments are ready for residents. The goal is to make the move to their new residence as seamless as possible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in sales or similar role.
• As part of the hiring process and in accordance with Florida law, healthcare candidates who accept a job offer are required to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education, or psychology preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet with new residents to coordinate move-in as assigned by director of sales.
• Manage the occupancy process from receipt of deposit to move in, continuously promoting the community to that individual.
• Help facilitate in making the move to their new residence as smooth as possible.
• Prepare closing packets and coordinates all aspects pertaining to scheduling move-ins and developing move-in guide.
• Facilitate the selections process, based upon current Lifespace standard selections and operating procedures.
• Communicate with future residents regarding notices for projected move in dates.
• Work with director of plant operations and director of environmental services to ensure completion of apartments as assigned by the director of sales. Keep all appropriate parties apprised of move-in dates and possible adjustments.
• Communicate with the sales team and new resident to assure apartments are ready for move-in.
