About The Position

Heritage Truck Equipment is hiring an entry-level Mounter/Assembler for its Mount and Prep Department in Hartville, Ohio. The role involves mounting steel and aluminum truck bodies onto chassis, installing truck-body components, completing final preparations, and operating overhead cranes. The position is full-time, first shift, and scheduled for 50 hours per week. Compensation includes weekly pay, monthly attendance bonuses, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Consistent work history and reliable attendance.
• Ownership of basic tools; a list can be provided upon request.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to the Hartville facility.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent step-ladder use and extended periods of kneeling, squatting, sitting, and standing, as well as using a creeper for under-vehicle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mount steel and aluminum truck bodies onto chassis.
• Install components such as lights, tarp systems, mud flaps, and side boards.
• Perform final preparations, including touch-up painting and cab cleaning.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
