The Mountain Safety Team will be our on-hill representation of safety and guest service. Attendants will provide positive educational feedback to guests in designated areas, as well as model correct behavior while skiing and riding. The goal will not be to enforce specific behaviors and/or correct individual behavior but rather have a positive influence on decision-making through loosely scripted communications and signage. These efforts will maintain an enjoyable environment for skiers and riders of all levels in specific areas of the resort. The Mountain Safety Team Lead will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Mountain Safety Team and serve as the primary point of contact for team members during daily operations. The Team Lead will coordinate daily assignments, lead morning briefing meetings, monitor attendance and punctuality, and ensure that team members are performing assigned tasks safely, effectively, and to established standards. The Team Lead will also assist employees with operational needs such as uniforms, building access, equipment, and supplies; address routine employee and operational issues; and escalate concerns to management when appropriate.
