Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and when appropriate, participate in modification of SOP to improve productivity and quality of product.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a palm/hand sander.

Responsibilities

• Stack mouldings onto a cart coming out of the moulder.
• Grade each piece of moulding to the grading specs.
• Apply wood fill to affected moldings during moulding production.
• Operate a hand sander to buff out filler.
• Clean out of moulder when not running.
• Clean departmental area.
• Band bunks of mouldings.
• Assist with moulder set up when possible.
• Stacking in the Rough Mill (when necessary).
• Packaging in the Packing Department (when necessary).
• Operating the Resaw (when necessary).
• Catching moldings in the Sanding Department (when necessary).
• Cleaning of production equipment in other departments (when necessary).
