Milling Assistant - 1st Shift

About The Position
This is a full-time position located in Hampstead, Maryland, with working hours from 6am to 2:30pm. The Milling Assistant will be responsible for moving, cutting, and dumping raw spice product for all milling lines using a hoist and utility knife. They will also make boxes for all three milling lines and assist with Cinnamon packaging by taping and palletizing milled cinnamon. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work with others and independently.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates basic comprehension and math skills.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, lifting, standing on a consistent basis during workday.
- Potentially working in loud, dusty environment.
Responsibilities
- Move, cut, and dump raw spice product for all milling lines using hoist and utility knife.
- Make boxes for all three milling lines.
- Assist with Cinnamon packaging by taping and palletizing milled cinnamon.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
