About The Position

CHENEGA BASE & LOGISTICS SERVICES, LLC. is seeking a Motorized Equipment Manager to perform inventories of all 212 RQS motorized equipment and associated systems in support of the 212 RQS Guardian Angel Support Services contract at Joint Base Eagle River, AK.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two (2) or more years of program management experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a restricted area badge.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a flight line driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a HAZDEC certification.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain license and operate unit GOVs in accordance with AFI 24-301.
  • Ability to operate all squadron boats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Familiarity with inventory management system, preferably on a military installation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Vehicle Equipment Fleet report to the unit commander and maintain updated Vehicle/Equipment Accountability database.
  • Operate and perform equipment mechanic work; including troubleshooting malfunctions, determining the type and extent of repair required, repairing, and maintaining equipment; to include: military vehicles, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV), snow machines, wing boats, zodiacs, Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC), jet skis, compressors, generators, chainsaws, rescue saw, boat engines, extraction equipment, motorcycles, trailers, forklifts, snow plows and low-speed vehicles boat motors, and Internally Transportable Vehicle (ITV).
  • Perform routine and field sustainment maintenance as required by technical orders, regulatory guidance, and manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Ensure vehicle/equipment program meets regulatory guidance concerning accountability and maintenance of unit’s vehicle/equipment program.
  • Ensure operational availability of alert and non-alert vehicles and equipment.
  • Shall be responsible for managing satellite HAZ pharmacy.
  • Shall be responsible for performing Drop Zone Safety Officer (DZSO) duties for land and water parachute drops.
  • Manage credit card for travel and other shop-specific required purchases.
  • Manage shop specific R14 account.
  • Assist squadron UDM as subject matter expert for deployment equipment preparation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
