About The Position

The Motorist Assistance Technician provides services for stranded or disabled vehicles under moderate supervision. Assists with Athletic and other special events on Campus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
• Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
• Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers or handheld devices.
• Ability to use the tools and equipment of the job.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time during various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and maneuver various tools and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
