Motorcycle Range Aide - PTT
About The Position
The Motorcycle Range Aide is responsible for ensuring the availability of supplies and equipment for students and instructors on the range. This includes managing motorcycles, helmets, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits, as well as providing ice water and assisting instructors with tasks such as moving cones. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and operational status of the motorcycles through regular inspections (T-CLOC) and proper storage at the end of each day. Specific duties on Sundays include cleaning the range, relocating barrels, removing trash, fueling motorcycles, and storing them.
Requirements

- Mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Ensure supplies are available to students and instructors, including motorcycles, helmets, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits.
- Provide ice water to the range.
- Assist instructors as needed, including moving cones.
- Keep all bikes clean and in good working order.
- Inspect each bike using T-CLOC in every class.
- Return bikes to storage at the end of the day.
- On Sundays: clean up the range, move barrels to the front of the Physical Plant building, remove trash, fuel the motorcycles, and put them in storage.
