About The Position

National Powersport Auctions (NPA) is the world's largest powersport auction and remarketing company. They are seeking a hard-working individual to help prepare all Powersports vehicles, RV'S, Camper Trailers, and Boats for inspection by installing batteries. The ideal candidate will be a team player who takes pride in doing the job right. If you are self-motivated, organized, and have attention to detail, NPA wants you! This is an hourly full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with 5 to 10 hours of overtime per month.

Requirements

  • Must have experience operating and moving motorcycles
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to push a rolling 900lb motorcycle with relative ease
  • Must not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners, and fuel fumes
  • Must be able to maneuver and operate a 2-wheel motorcycle with expertise

Nice To Haves

  • M1 Motorcycle Endorsement Preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Installing Batteries in Motorcycles, Personal Watercraft, and ATV's/Side by Sides
  • Responsible for warehouse inventory and placement.
  • The ability to work safely and responsibly as well as occasional overtime is a must.
  • Arrive to work on time per required work schedule
  • Be courteous and respectful to fellow employees and customers
  • Use company equipment for company purposes only
  • Operate company vehicles safely and within their intended purpose
  • Dress appropriately for particular job duties and within the parameters of our current employee manual (no open toe shoes in the warehouse)
  • Keep work area neat and clean at all times
  • Always ask questions when uncertainty arises

  • Wash and detail units
  • Responsible for detail area
  • Responsible for the relocation of detailed units to pre-condition report area
  • Verify that vehicles are labeled and have keys
  • Verify that vehicles have enough fuel to process a condition report
  • Clean out saddle bags
  • Attach keys to units for security
  • Put correct air pressure in tires as needed
  • Change batteries as necessary
  • Must be able to maneuver and operate a 2-wheel motorcycle with expertise
  • Help unload/load vehicles from trucks and trailers as needed
  • Must not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners, and fuel fumes
  • Responsible for all company equipment and tools associated with detail
  • Responsible for the detailing of the auction cart on auction day
  • Responsible for moving auction cart on auction day
  • Keep clean rags separate from dirty ones
  • Take out facility trash Wednesday and Friday
