About The Position
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to vehicle registration and licensing. This includes issuing license plates, permits, and registrations, as well as handling customer inquiries and processing transactions. You will also be responsible for examining documents for accuracy and completeness, and performing physical inspections of motor vehicles to verify VINs. This is an in-office position located in Ogden, Utah.

Responsibilities
- Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc.
- Receive, research, and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution.
- Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change, and close the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications, and other paperwork.
- Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and/or consistency of information from one document to another, etc.
- Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and/or verbally; read and understand information presented in writing.
- Perform comprehensive physical inspection of motor vehicles to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
