Motors Engineer II

Milwaukee Tool•Brookfield, WI

About The Position

The Motor Engineer II collaborates with local cross-functional, Global Motor Engineering, and Operations teams to develop and execute test plans that verify motor performance and thermal limits against project requirements. The role develops and applies a platform-based approach to motor designs to support consistent, efficient mass production of Milwaukee motors and products worldwide. The engineer independently designs, prototypes, tests, and troubleshoots motors for projects of mid-to-high complexity. The position also involves analyzing experimental and simulation data, investigating motor failures, managing project and test workflows, communicating progress and risks, guiding junior engineers, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers, and qualifying solutions to applicable regulatory standards.
