Motion Graphics & Animation Specialist
About The Position
The kind of Motion Graphics & Animation Specialist we're looking for: You bring stories to life through motion, blending design, animation, video, and sound into something that actually holds attention. You've got 2–5 years in motion graphics, animation, or post-production at a creative agency or production studio, and you know how to take a script or brief and turn it into a sequence that feels cinematic, not just technically correct. You're equally comfortable in After Effects building 2D sequences and cutting footage in Premiere, and you move fluidly between sleek corporate animation and bolder, more experimental work depending on what the brief actually calls for.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in motion graphics, animation, or post-production at a creative agency or production studio
- Advanced proficiency with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator; strong VFX, compositing, and animation workflow experience.
- Strong compositional instincts that unify typography, colour, and shape through motion
- Deep understanding of animation principles, video formats, codecs, and colour spaces/profiles
- A strong body of work showing advanced animation, motion graphics, and storytelling range
- Creative versatility across styles, from sleek corporate to bold and experimental
Nice To Haves
- Final Cut Pro and CapCut knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and produce 2D and 3D motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for video campaigns, brand assets, and social media
- Translate creative briefs and scripts into dynamic, emotive animated sequences
- Blend live-action footage with animation, motion graphics, VFX, and sound into polished, cinematic experiences
- Use After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related tools to edit, composite, and build high-end animated sequences
- Partner with internal teams and clients to brainstorm concepts and refine storyboards
- Keep work standards-compliant on file organization, colour profiles, rendering, and delivery across platforms
- Take notes from creatives and clients and turn them into real solutions, not just revisions
