About The Position

Motion Graphics Designer / Animator: We are looking for motion graphics designer / animators to work on a newly forming team, in a dynamic environment, making short-form videos for product & feature release, PR & Comms, advertising, paid and organic social, and more. The motion graphic specialist(s) should have experience in fast-turn motion and animation shops with strong motion, animation and editorial tools and workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Requirements

3-5 years experience at Motion Graphics agencies / brands / social shops.
Strong tools ability; Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro skills essential, as well as other industry standard tools, including Figma.
Experienced storytellers of fast paced, short-form work – generally :06 - :60.
Good sense of advertising & social storytelling rhythm, pacing, and story-flow.
Understanding and experience making effective work across all channels and sizes (9:16, 16:9, 1x1, folding phones, etc.).
Experiencing re-sizing and re-purposing existing content.
Experienced animating UI and using vector animation / files, etc.
Experience animating UI elements for marketing/advertising in engaging and intuitive ways.
Attention to detail.
Excellent design & typography fundamentals, and type in motion design skills.
Enthusiastic about finding efficiencies, and using automation and AI to augment workflows.
Mastery of the graph editor and acceleration curves.

Nice To Haves

3D chops a plus.
Editorial, music, color, SFX a plus.
