About The Position
Pest & Mosquito Authority is hiring Mosquito Control Technicians to provide mosquito treatments for residential and commercial customers. This is an active, outdoor job where you’re not stuck behind a desk all day. No experience required as the company provides paid training. If you’re dependable, coachable, and ready to work, they will teach you everything you need to succeed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift/carry 60 lbs and perform physical work (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching)
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat/humidity
- Available for extended hours/weekends when necessary
- Willingness to undergo a background check
Nice To Haves
- Mosquito/pest control knowledge is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Apply mosquito control treatments at residential and commercial properties
- Operate a backpack blower/fogger (up to 60 lbs) in heat/humidity and uneven terrain
- Drive a company vehicle safely to customer locations
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to basic questions
- Report customer concerns to the office for fast resolution
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all safety requirements (state guidelines, OSHA policies, PPE)
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
- Work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional weekends during peak season
