About The Position

Mosquito & Pest Authority is seeking a Mosquito Control Technician to join their team. This role involves traveling throughout the Richmond area to provide professional mosquito treatments and exceptional customer service. The company focuses on helping families enjoy their outdoor spaces by protecting them from pests. No prior pest control experience is necessary, as paid training and ongoing support are provided. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
Ability to walk on uneven terrain and stand for extended periods.
Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Apply mosquito control treatments to residential and commercial properties.
Safely operate backpack sprayers and other application equipment.
Drive a company vehicle between service appointments.
Communicate professionally with customers before and after each service.
Inspect properties and identify conditions that contribute to mosquito activity.
Follow all company safety procedures and pesticide label requirements.
Complete service documentation using company software.
Keep equipment and company vehicles clean and organized.
Represent Mosquito & Pest Authority professionally at every customer interaction.
