About The Position

In this role, you’ll lead and support our Mortgage Servicing Specialists, overseeing daily operations across payments, escrow administration, payoffs, and member servicing. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant servicing for in-house and secondary market loans while minimizing risk and supporting regulatory and investor requirements. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan servicing, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in mortgage servicing within a financial institution, including handling complex servicing issues, exceptions, and member escalations
  • Working knowledge of mortgage servicing functions, regulations, and investor guidelines (e.g., escrow, payments, secondary market requirements)
  • Proven ability to oversee workflows, controls, and staff in a lending or mortgage servicing environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications; strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Mortgage Servicing Specialists, fostering a high-performing, member-focused team through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management
  • Oversee daily mortgage servicing operations including payments, escrow administration, payoffs, and member servicing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Monitor workflows, system queues, and quality control measures to minimize operational risk and ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and investor requirements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex servicing issues, member concerns, and exception resolution
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with mortgage servicing policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and secondary market guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams, investors, auditors, and vendors to support efficient operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality member experience
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall servicing performance
