About The Position

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Mortgage Servicing Specialist. The position involves managing DCU's investor mortgage portfolios, handling accounting and administration of mortgage escrow accounts, coordinating with members and vendors, preparing loans for sale to the secondary market, maintaining interest rate changes and general ledgers, providing customer service for mortgage servicing inquiries, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years mortgage or related experience

Responsibilities

• Manage DCU's investor mortgage portfolios, including calling in daily remittances, payoffs, monthly reconciliation, delinquency reporting, and modifications.
• Responsible for the accounting, analysis, and administration of all mortgage escrow accounts, including but not limited to: taxes, PMI, homeowners, force-placed insurance, and delinquent payments.
• Coordinate and correspond with members, vendors and employees for all mortgage servicing needs.
• Prepare, process, and fund all loans for sale to the secondary market investors.
• Maintain all interest rate changes and ensure all general ledgers are current and up to date.
• Provide service excellence by answering phone calls regarding all aspects of mortgage servicing.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).
