About The Position
The Mortgage Servicing Specialist II is responsible for handling all duties related to the servicing of mortgage loans. This position works with clients to compile and verify all required loan documentation in order to properly setup and maintain mortgage loans.
Requirements
- Understand and comply with mortgage industry regulations.
- Basic knowledge of mortgage servicing.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years' related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the Bank and Stifel servicing companies.
- Assist clients with insurance and tax escrows.
- Work with clients to complete loan payoffs.
- Answer servicing questions for clients, Financial Advisors, and other Stifel team members.
- Submit documentation to servicing companies for paid in full mortgages.
- Assist clients with the processing of auto draft authorizations.
