About The Position
The Mortgage Originator guides applicants through the mortgage loan process, from initial inquiry to loan closing. The role uses financial expertise, communication skills, and industry knowledge to help clients secure mortgage options tailored to their needs. It maintains, monitors, and serves the credit union loan portfolio; markets Finanta Credit Union’s loan products and services to prospective borrowers; and supports member counseling needs. The position is expected to meet weekly sales calling goals, annual loan origination goals, portfolio repayment and performance quality goals, and regional branch goals. Fluent Spanish is required and will be evaluated during the interview.
