About The Position

As a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist I at the Baytree Headquarters, you will support the administration and management of loans after origination by completing administrative and member-service tasks. You will represent SCCU and provide service to members and internal Team Members. This position is hybrid, with two days per week required in the office. SCCU offers on-the-job training and prioritizes internal promotions.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Starting pay is $20.18–$21.38 per hour, with eligibility for a 3% ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of prior experience in a financial institution or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Loan servicing experience or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Correct loans as needed by adjusting rates and terms and resolving payment-posting errors to create accurate member loan histories.
• Assist with maintaining insurance tracking and collateral securitization and release.
• Answer incoming calls in a phone queue and make outbound calls.
• Process miscellaneous department check transactions, including payments, payoffs, and check disbursements.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries about loan accounts and related matters; resolve basic issues or escalate complex cases to senior Team Members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure loan records are accurate and complete.
