About The Position

At Regions, the Business Unit Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within the line of business. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position works onsite M-F. Training hours are Monday- Friday 7:30a- 4:30p (100% attendance expected). After training hours, the schedule is Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm (exact shift based on the needs of the business). Proximity to Hattiesburg, MS is required. This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Responsibilities

Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed
Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary
Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects documents
May research and resolve payment related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general related questions
Works under general supervision following established guidelines and procedures
