From managing complex escrow accounts and property taxes to coordinating with secondary market partners, you ensure every detail is handled with precision. Position Purpose The Mortgage Loan Servicer oversees the post-closing technical lifecycle of real estate loans, managing escrow analysis, tax and insurance disbursements, and secondary market reporting while providing specialized support for member inquiries, subordination agreements, and paid-in-full processing.

Requirements

  • A dedication to providing consistent, high-quality service to members long after their loan has been funded.
  • Familiarity with general ledgers and high proficiency in PC software to manage daily reporting and reconciliations.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and the administrative judgment to handle subordination agreements and partial releases.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with insurance agencies and tax authorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must maintain active NMLS registration.
  • Must be bondable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for members after their loan closes, assisting with payment issues, escrow questions, and formal Verification of Mortgage (VOM) requests.
  • Perform annual escrow analysis and ensure the timely payment of real estate taxes, homeowners' insurance, and PMI premiums.
  • Execute the "paid-in-full" process, service adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs), and prepare quarterly mortgage statements and 1099 tax forms.
  • Package and sell loans to the secondary market, performing daily reporting and reconciliation with external partners.
  • Prepare and execute subordination agreements, review appraisals for Home Equity loans, and monitor ongoing insurance coverage.
  • Maintain strict regulatory compliance regarding real estate lending and bankruptcy, ensuring all in-house and secondary market files are complete and audit-ready.
