About The Position

The Mortgage Loan Service is responsible for preparation and submission of mortgage loans to secondary market investors for review. Other responsibilities include researching and clearing all post-closing conditions, reviewing final title work and all appraisal requests. We are seeking an ideal candidate who thrives in a dynamic, task-oriented position, excels at creative problem-solving, and consistently meets deadlines. They should possess a natural inclination to stay engaged and productive, even during busy periods.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years professional office experience
Knowledge of Mortgage loan processes
Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion

Responsibilities

Clearing post-closing deficiency items from corresponding investor.
Review portfolio mortgage loans for required documentation and follow-up for outstanding documentation.
Review final title work for sufficiency.
Send final documentation to investors within specified timeframes.
Residential appraisal ordering and receiving process.
Prepare portfolio mortgage loans for imaging.
Prepare abstracts and other final documents to be sent to borrower(s) and maintain and log on all abstract receipt(s).
