Requirements

Knowledge of various residential mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA, VA, etc.)
Ability to pass background check required for NMLS license and Notary Public
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Ability to work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm EST

Responsibilities

Collect and organize required documentation from members to complete mortgage loan applications accurately and efficiently.
Review loan applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and gather financial information, including income, assets, employment status, and liabilities.
Identify, research, and correct errors or inconsistencies in loan files and application data.
Communicate with members and third parties (e.g., employers, insurance providers, title companies) to obtain and verify necessary information.
Monitor loan files to ensure all documentation is received and processed in a timely manner to meet application and closing deadlines.
Assist Loan Officers with application follow-up, condition gathering, and document tracking throughout the processing cycle.
Maintain clear and organized records in the loan processing system to support internal audits and compliance reviews.
Ensure adherence to all federal and state real estate lending laws and regulations, including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and other applicable compliance standards.
Provide outstanding service to internal and external members by responding to inquiries and proactively supporting the mortgage loan process.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Senior Management.
