About The Position
The Mortgage Loan Processor will assist Loan Officers with the preparation and processing of real estate loans. This is a full-time position with the full Cornerstone Bank employee benefit package. This position cannot be done remotely.
Requirements
- Equivalent to a high school education.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and co-workers.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently.
- Will provide unmatched customer service and exhibit the core values of Cornerstone Bank.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer two years’ work experience.
Responsibilities
- Process initial real estate loan applications, order appraisals, credit reports, title insurance, pest inspections, etc.
- Prepare loan documents using Mortgagebot and Laserpro software.
- Prepare documents for closings, which include balancing closing numbers with title companies and attorneys.
- Process final documents after closing.
- Input loan information into the system.
- Prepare files for transfer to investor.
- File and perfect liens.
