Hybrid position that assists in the fulfillment of member home loan requests through the timely ordering, receipt, and completion of required documentation. Obtains and reviews necessary information (i.e., loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) to process and complete mortgage loan files. Works with members, real estate agents, and third-party real estate vendors to obtain and verify the accuracy of all information required to submit loan applications for decision-making. Recommends loans for approval to the Underwriting team. Processes Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Second Mortgage Loans by reviewing loan packages and determining what further documentation will be required, adhering to Altura’s and Investors’ documentation requirements. Provide high-quality service by communicating clearly and effectively with borrowers, internal counterparts, and various third parties during the loan transactions. Package, gather conditions and submit loan files to underwriters and/or external investors. Responds to member inquiries; answer questions, resolve problems and provide solutions. Must have the ability to perform under strict deadlines and other time constraints. Understands and complies with all real estate Lending Federal and State Regulations.
