About The Position
Mortgage Field Service Inspectors are responsible for documenting the occupancy and physical condition of mortgaged properties. This involves visiting properties to determine if they are occupied or vacant, assessing their general condition (rating them as Good, Fair, or Poor), taking specific photos using a smartphone, and reporting findings via a mobile app. The role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as those in the gig economy (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.), who possess reliable transportation and a smartphone. The work is compensated on a per-inspection basis, with opportunities for higher volume and potentially higher pay in rural areas. This is a 1099 contractor position with no resume required.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
