About The Position
This role involves conducting drive-by inspections of properties to determine occupancy status and physical condition. Mortgage companies and banks are legally required to document the condition of mortgaged loans. Property Inspectors visit physical properties to take specific photos and ascertain if the property is occupied or vacant. The inspector then reports the general condition of the property using a mobile app. Inspectors will determine if a property is occupied or vacant, rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor, take photos of the property using a smartphone, fill out a form on a smartphone using a downloadable app, and answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
