About The Position
Mortgage Field Service Contractors are required by law to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. This involves visiting properties to determine if they are occupied or vacant, assessing their general condition, taking specific photos using a smartphone, and reporting findings via a mobile app. This role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as Uber drivers, Lyft drivers, Door Dashers, or delivery personnel, who can complete multiple inspections per hour.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
- Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
- Rate the property's condition as Good, Fair, or Poor.
- Take photos of the property using a smartphone.
- Fill out a form on a smartphone using a downloadable app.
- Answer multiple-choice questions about the property's condition.
