About The Position

Mortgage companies and banks are required by law to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. As a Property Inspector, you will visit physical properties to take specific photos and determine if the property is occupied or vacant. You will then report the general condition of the property using a mobile app. This role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as those working in the gig economy (Uber Drivers, Lyft, Door Dash, Uber Eats, Pizza delivery, etc.).

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
  • Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
  • Must have a printer/scanner or easy access to both.
  • Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.

  • Good gas mileage for transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
  • Rate the property's condition as Good, Fair, or Poor.
  • Take photos of the property using your smartphone.
  • Fill out a property condition report on your smartphone using a downloadable app.
  • Answer multiple-choice questions about the property's condition.
