About The Position

Waukesha State Bank is seeking a motivated Mortgage Consultant to expand its residential lending business. This role involves building relationships through networking, community involvement, and referral partnerships, while providing exceptional customer service. The Mortgage Consultant will guide borrowers through the entire mortgage process, from application to closing, ensuring a personalized experience consistent with a community bank's values. Responsibilities include active community engagement, developing referral relationships, collaborating with branch teams, and promoting the bank's mortgage solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a sales-focused environment, enjoy building long-term relationships, and value integrity, collaboration, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Relationship-driven mortgage professional.
• Residential mortgage origination experience is required.
• Must have the ability to obtain an active NMLS Record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of FHA, VA, WHEDA, construction, and portfolio lending programs is strongly preferred.
