Mortgage Closing Manager

About The Position

This position is remote eligible but you MUST be located in our business footprint, which includes the following states: TN, KY, AL, GA. The Mortgage Closing Manager will direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all closing department staff. They will interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close. This role will elevate service levels for customers by overseeing all mortgage loan closings and participate in the Regional Operations Center (ROC) Leadership Team. The manager will promote the goals, standards, and vision of the ROC within their team, manage the ROC closing pipeline, and proactively communicate to ensure all teams are informed and prepared for a successful closing. Additionally, they will ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to all lender underwriting guidelines and federal and state regulations, and examine and implement closing processes as required to maintain accurate loan files, settlement statements, and closing documents. The role also involves cultivating an environment that supports diversity, teamwork, and performance, and providing leadership through communication, performance management, development, and recognition of staff by hiring, coaching, training, and providing direction to team members through feedback to support personal development and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
5 years experience in mortgage closing
Management experience in operations is needed
Understanding of lending industry trends and various mortgage products such as FHA, USDA, Conventional, etc. is needed
Exceptional communication, supervision, math, customer service, and organization skills are required
Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all closing department staff which includes Closers, Funders and ICD Specialists.
Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close.
Elevate service levels for customers by overseeing all mortgage loan closings.
Participate in the Regional Operations Center(ROC) Leadership Team.
Promote the goals, standards and vision of the ROC within your team.
