About The Position

This position is remote eligible but you MUST be located in our business footprint, which includes the following states: TN, KY, AL, GA. The Mortgage Closing Manager will direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all closing department staff, including Closers, Funders, and ICD Specialists. This role involves interfacing professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure successful closings. The manager will elevate service levels for customers by overseeing all mortgage loan closings and participate in the Regional Operations Center (ROC) Leadership Team, promoting the goals, standards, and vision of the ROC within their team. Additionally, the manager will manage the ROC closing pipeline, proactively communicate to ensure all teams are informed and prepared for successful closings, and ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to all lender underwriting guidelines and federal and state regulations. The role also includes examining and implementing closing processes to maintain accurate loan files, settlement statements, and closing documents. The manager will cultivate an environment that supports diversity, teamwork, and performance, providing leadership through communication, performance management, development, and recognition of staff. They will manage the team by hiring, coaching, training, and providing direction through feedback to support personal development and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years experience in mortgage closing
• Management experience in operations is needed
• Understanding of lending industry trends and various mortgage products such as FHA, USDA, Conventional, etc. is needed
• Exceptional communication, supervision, math, customer service, and organization skills are required
• Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.
