About The Position

The Mortgage Advisor proactively solicits new mortgage business from potential loan applicants, matching mortgage products and services to applicants’ needs. The role also cultivates business relationships with realtors, builders, title companies, and others in the community. Requirements

Three to five years of mortgage lending experience, with extensive mortgage product knowledge and a thorough understanding of secondary market guidelines and market trends.
Understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including RESPA, Regulation Z, Fair Lending, HMDA, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to members and clients.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Collaborative team player who is detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently.
Professional appearance, enthusiasm, dependability, and a service-minded approach.

Responsibilities

Take mortgage applications, review members’ financial condition, and assess their ability to repay loans.
Evaluate terms and conditions necessary for the secondary market.
Represent Envista at various functions to develop mortgage relationships.
Work with the VP of Mortgage Services to develop promotional strategies to meet mortgage goals.
