About The Position

KMPH is looking for a Morning Multi-Media Journalist to join our team in Central California. We are live for 5 hours every weekday morning from 5am-10am. Join us and hone the skills you need to take your career where you want to go! We are looking for a candidate who thinks outside the box and elevates their storytelling with enhanced content on our digital and social platforms. Candidate must be willing to work weekday mornings and fill-in as an anchor as needed.

Requirements

• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Strong writer with the ability to learn how to produce newscasts
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
• A minimum of (1) year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus
