About The Position

KMPH is looking for a Morning Multi-Media Journalist to join their team in Central California. The role involves working weekday mornings from 5 am to 10 am. The ideal candidate will think outside the box, enhance storytelling with digital and social platform content, and be willing to fill-in as an anchor when needed. This position offers an opportunity to hone skills and advance one's career.

Requirements

• Sharp news judgment
• Ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to work well independently
• Strong writer with the ability to learn how to produce newscasts
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
• A minimum of (1) year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus
