About The Position

Accurate Courier Services is seeking independent couriers with cargo vans to support healthcare clients across the Kansas City metro. This role involves transporting pharmaceuticals, specimens, and other time-sensitive medical items safely and on time. The work is primarily Monday through Friday mornings, with a guaranteed minimum of $125 per day. While most mornings involve on-demand orders, there will be occasional route coverage. On-demand orders are accepted between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, but busy mornings often extend beyond these times.

Requirements

Must own a cargo van with sufficient cargo space.
Must own a compatible smartphone.
Must possess a current driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
Must be responsible for fuel, vehicle maintenance, and business expenses.
Must maintain full HIPAA and confidentiality compliance.
Must be age 21 or older.
Must have at least 3 years of personal vehicle driving experience.
Must be familiar with Kansas City roadways and traffic patterns.
Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by healthcare clients.

Nice To Haves

Medical, lab, or courier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Transporting pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, supplies, documents, and medical specimens.
Handling temperature-sensitive materials requiring insulated transport.
Logging pickups and deliveries through a secure mobile app to support chain-of-custody requirements.
Completing services within agreed windows.
Communicating any delays or incidents through the designated channel.
Maintaining professionalism in healthcare settings.
Performing all services free from impairment and in compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
