As an extension program of Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, A Montessori Summer seeks to offer consistency of practice, dignity in learning, and an enjoyable, laid-back, and happy summer experience for a range of children in the neighborhood. Role: Lead Teacher in Early Childhood (ages 3-6) Montessori Summer Program Brief Description: Lead Teacher for Summer Camp applies Montessori principles and philosophy to planning fun, age-appropriate classroom activities and projects aligned with summer session themes for mixed-age groups of 15-20 children, supported by classroom assistant and additional support staff. Candidates must have commenced Montessori training; ideal candidates will have experience working in Montessori settings and with students of a wide range of needs and backgrounds.
