Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education or child development preferred.
Previous experience working with young children in a camp or educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Passion for early childhood education and a positive attitude.
Background check required prior to employment.
Flexible schedule, including availability for the entire summer camp session.

Responsibilities

Implement creative and educational camp activities for children ages 3-5.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all campers.
Encourage social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning experiences.
Supervise daily activities and ensure the well-being of all participants.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and activities.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom and outdoor space.
Training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
Have fun with the children.
