About The Position

Arlington Public Schools is seeking a Montessori Teacher for Upper Elementary (MPSA) for the FY2026-27 school year. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students in grades 4th and 5th, utilizing the Montessori method. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with school administration, staff, parents, and special education personnel. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, highly organized, and possess strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary Education endorsement.
• Must have AMI or AMS certification for ages 9-12, grades 4th and 5th.
• Montessori certification.
• Experience teaching upper elementary students.
