About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Upper Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging classroom environment, deliver high-quality instruction aligned to standards, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of students in grades 3–5.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification/licensure for elementary education
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching upper elementary grades
• Experience with differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
• Knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies)
• Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in professional learning communities
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning
• Support students’ social-emotional development and model positive behavior
