About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking a Montessori Teacher Assistant to support the Montessori classroom and help provide quality learning opportunities for children from birth through age six. The role is full-time and works as part of a teaching team alongside trained Montessori teachers. The assistant helps maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom, provides basic care and active supervision, supports a positive learning environment, and communicates with parents about routine matters concerning students’ health and care. No prior experience is necessary; the role offers the opportunity to learn about Montessori education while working with experienced faculty. The position is located in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Requirements

CDA, an associate degree, or some college coursework.
At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

Support the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work as part of a teaching team.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
Use positive redirection and help maintain a positive learning environment.
Communicate with parents about routine matters regarding students’ health and care.
