About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking an infant teacher interested in becoming a certified Infant/Toddler Montessori lead teacher. The role offers financial incentives toward the internationally recognized Montessori credential and a paid teaching practicum while pursuing certification. The teacher supports the classroom under trained Montessori teachers, helps maintain a safe and orderly environment, provides care and supervision for young children, and communicates with parents about routine matters concerning students’ health and care. The position is located in Houston, Texas.

Requirements

High school diploma.
CDA, associate degree, or some college coursework.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

Support classroom activities under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work as part of a teaching team.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
Use positive redirection and maintain a positive learning environment.
Communicate with parents as needed about routine matters concerning students’ health and care.
Enroll in the Infant/Toddler Montessori Certification cohort for birth to three.
