This Opening will be on a 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift (Rotating shifts work 2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off). This Openings will be on a 6:48 p.m. to 6:48 a.m. shift. Starting pay rate is $22.80 and tops out at $27.32 at 9 months. All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
• Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
• Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
• Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to: EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee handbook.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Requires wearing safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, hard hats and Metatarsal shoes.
• Requires wearing flame retardant uniform.
• Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.
• Employee is required to execute the following: Floor-to-waist lift and carry, lifting and carrying to the waist high level, carrying items with two hands.
• Push, pull and twist.
• Gripping and pinching.
• Be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. intermittently of various items.
• Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments.
• Position may require more than eight hours daily and more than five days weekly to complete work assignments.
• Squatting/crouching/bending when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, moving equipment/product inspections, etc.
• Standing approximately 90% of the time.
• Clean work areas and maintain a clean work environment; perform 5S cleaning activities as required.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Applies repetitive ceramic slurry coating to finished patterns, and performs any post-dipping operations.
• Performs dewax duties as required.
• Rotates through all monoshell operations daily.
• Performs cleaning tasks of towers and support equipment.
• Selects patterns based on production schedules and capacity of line.
• Checks for broken or poor-quality patterns.
• Logs necessary information on lot travelers to monitor sequence of dips.
• Performs basic processing steps, including manually loading case on facecoat line, monitoring robot to ensure mold is dipped/sanded in sequence, blowing off excess sand after facecoats, monitoring and applying code to hanger; monitors mold through cycle.
• Examines mold throughout cycle to ensure adequacy of coating and sanding.
• Performs required housekeeping tasks.
• Fills stucco towers.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
• Works overtime when needed.
• Unloads molds from automatic line at unload stations.
• Removes rubber gaskets from cups after all dip cycles are completed.
• Cleans imbedded stucco and sand from inside pour cups as required.
• Weighs molds from each truck to ensure minimum weight requirements before transporting truck to vac dry.
• Operates vacuum chambers and pin puller per Activity Instruction guidelines.
• Posts all required data - control charts, trouble reports, mold weights, etc.
• Operates freezers per Activity Instruction guidelines.
• Performs dewax operation utilizing oven and/or steam dewax unit.
• Ensures area is well maintained.
• Logs necessary information to monitor input quantity and quality.
• Discards used wax from area.
• Monitors operation of equipment and temperature controls.
