The technician maintains reliable monitoring coverage, including during nursing breaks or other temporary absences, and supports safe, effective use of telemetry equipment and accurate monitoring documentation. The position requires sustained attention while monitoring multiple patients, proper response to alarms, and adherence to patient safety, confidentiality, infection prevention, and equipment-handling policies.
