About The Position
Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager of 3 Intermediate Care Unit, the Monitor Technician Supervisor assumes supervisory responsibility for the daily operations, equipment, personnel, and other related considerations of the Monitor Room. Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalency required
- Successful Completion of an approved dysrhythmia course or related experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired
- At least five (5) years' experience as a Monitor Technician.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Possess the ability to assess data and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify the unit’s requirements.
- Be able to problem solve.
