This position involves implementing telemetry monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and/or pulse oximetry. The Monitor Tech will monitor heart rhythm patterns to detect, record, and report normal and abnormal interval measurements, as well as proper and improper pacemaker or implantable defibrillator function. They will also monitor and report abnormal oxygen saturation levels, exercising independent judgment in daily technical work under the direction of a charge nurse, assistant nurse manager, nurse manager, or supervisor.
