About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Tech to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Boise. Vibra Hospital of Boise, located in Boise, ID, is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital that provides acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The hospital offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where employees can get to know their patients and their families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous Telemetry Monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and reading required.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in healthcare with previous telemetry monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and reading preferred.
- Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for continual monitoring of telemetry units and promptly alerting appropriate personnel of significant changes in readings.
