About The Position

The Performance & Monetization Lead is responsible for ensuring that content and traffic translate into measurable business outcomes. This role owns data, audience quality, funnel performance, and the development of monetization opportunities across different audience segments. The primary objective is to ensure that all content efforts attract the right audience (U.S. business owners as priority), generate qualified traffic, convert attention into leads and customers, and maximize monetization across multiple audience segments. The role is not only to analyze performance but to turn attention into revenue by designing and optimizing monetization across all relevant audience segments.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze content performance, identifying high-performing hooks, topics, and audience behavior patterns, distinguishing between vanity metrics and business metrics.
  • Analyze audience by geography, income level, business maturity, and level of interest, prioritizing U.S.-based business owners while identifying valuable secondary audiences and detecting misaligned audiences.
  • Design and optimize the path from content to profile to funnel to offer, developing monetization opportunities for different audience tiers (premium offers, in-person events, challenges, group programs, scalable digital products), ensuring alignment between content messaging, audience intent, and offer positioning.
  • Identify and develop monetization strategies for different income levels, engagement levels, and international audiences, creating pathways to capture value without diluting core positioning, and recommending new product or offer opportunities.
  • Provide weekly insights to the Director and Creative Director, communicating what content attracts the right audience, generates intent and clicks, and what should be scaled or reduced.
  • Track click-through rates, conversion rates, and drop-off points in funnels, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
  • Guide targeting strategy for paid distribution (boosts/ads) focusing on U.S.-based audiences and business-related interests to test hooks, validate messaging, accelerate learning, and for retargeting.
  • Run structured tests on hooks, formats, targeting, and CTAs, documenting results and turning them into repeatable strategies.
