About The Position

The Molding Technician role involves performing routine manufacturing tasks such as fabrication and testing, with a basic understanding of manufacturing procedures and material handling. This position works under close supervision, following instructions and documenting work accurately. The technician will learn to perform mold setups, identify common molding defects, and understand different molding processes. A strong emphasis is placed on learning, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures.
• Basic knowledge of material handling and auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, conveyors, chillers).
• Familiarity with different molding processes (e.g., injection, compression, blow, thermoforming).
• Basic understanding of part measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and part drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry Level and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or associate's degree preferred.
